Sustainability at JoCos GmbH
For us, sustainability begins with the initial idea for a new product. In our production laboratories, dedicated chemists develop new product ideas and adapt existing products to changing market requirements. The new product formulations are manufactured in the laboratory and regularly tested by independent institutes and a large number of test subjects. A good performance of our products in Stiftung Warentest tests is just as much a prerequisite for us as the eco-test conformity of all formulations.
Right from the creation of our products, we analyze each segment to use the most environmentally friendly alternatives. Many people are not aware that a large part of the emissions are in the raw materials used. Through intelligent and environmentally conscious development work, we design formulations from the outset to meet sustainability requirements.
We are full of ideas that are proactively developed by our experienced team and tailored to the needs of the market, our customers and current ecological requirements. For our customers, we keep a wide range of ready innovations in the laboratories and never stop looking for new and trendy and, above all, sustainable product ideas.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The commitment to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the adoption of voluntary technical standards are closely linked. In fact, standards not only support the three pillars of sustainable development (economic, social and environmental), but also respond to specific market and social needs in a way that embodies ISO’s mission and values and reflects the goals set by the UN.
With our productions, we demonstrate our commitment to sustainability by introducing new and extending existing certifications to our plants.

Sustainability Report 2025
In its 2025 sustainability report, JoCos GmbH presents its milestones in environmentally conscious cosmetics and responsible corporate governance. Based on the EFRAG VSME standard, the presentation highlights the use of 100% green electricity, sustainable RSPO-certified raw materials, and innovative ammonia-free formulas, as well as regional reforestation projects with Pina Earth. A strong team comprising 100% permanent employees and a transparent Code of Conduct underscore the company’s social commitment.

Quality management
We prepare product documentation for our customers in accordance with German and international legal requirements and taking into account all customer-specific specifications. We ensure the correctness of the product declaration by checking according to relevant legal texts such as the Food and Feed Code (LFBG), Cosmetics Ordinance, Biocidal Products Ordinance, Chemicals Act and Hazardous Substances Ordinance. Both existing formulations and new developments undergo specific tests such as application and efficacy studies, stability tests and dermatological tests.
During production, strict quality controls are carried out by constantly monitoring the production processes through a monitoring system. We ensure compliance with quality specifications by manufacturing exclusively in certified production facilities (in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001, IFS HPC and GMP). We are your advisor in all matters of product safety and quality control.
